What it actually is
A scheduled video call with a topic and a moderator — sometimes a discussion, sometimes a class delivered remotely. Cameras are usually optional and many attendees stay on audio or text chat only.
Who it is really for
Most kink community assumes you live in a city and can travel at night. Online meets are how the rest participate: people two hours from the nearest munch, people who cannot be seen entering a venue, people whose bodies make a three-hour standing event impossible.
The privacy rules are stricter, not looser
Recording is normally banned outright, and screenshots count as recording. Use a scene name, check what is visible behind you, and assume anyone can see your display name.
What to expect
- A link, a start time, and a moderator who introduces the format

- A stated topic rather than open-ended hanging out
- No recording, by anyone
- A written code of conduct in the invite
How to behave
