The Cuffplay app

Explore Cuffplay’s features

Cuffplay is a free, private BDSM and kink web app for adults. Start on your own; explore with a partner when you’re ready. Your own choices stay yours until you decide what to include in a shared space.

Start with your own choices

You can use My Space without connecting to anyone. In My Map, mark an interest Interested, Curious, Not for me, or Never. Change an answer when your view changes. Your Map gives you a place to think through your interests before any conversation with a partner.

If you want a shorter first step, take the free Kink Test. You can also work through the Kink Checklist at your own pace. These tools can help you find words for a conversation; a result does not decide what you want to do.

Explore with a partner when you choose

A shared space begins with an invitation. Before your partner joins, nothing from your Map is shared with them. When you choose what to include, Cuffplay compares only eligible interests that both of you selected and chose to share. You can review or remove what you include for that relationship.

The In Common view can show where a conversation might begin. A shared interest is not consent. Ask what each choice means to the other person, including its limits, timing, and whether it still feels right today. Read more about exploring together.

Make a scene plan you can revisit

The Scene Planner turns a conversation into a plan you can both read. Choose from eligible Map items, set a starting intensity, add a safeword and signals, and record what care each person would like afterward. Your partner can agree, suggest a change, or say “Not now.” A plan can be withdrawn, and agreeing to one never makes it a promise to continue.

You can also save a scene draft in My Space. It stays private until you choose to send it after connecting with someone.

Find a rhythm that fits

Rituals and tasks serve different purposes. A ritual is something you return to; a task is one thing to do once. You can keep either personal, or propose a shared version for your partner to review. Shared practice begins only when the other person accepts.

Optional points and rewards are available if you both want them. Rituals and tasks still work with points off. A declined proposal or a skipped day is not treated as a penalty.

Keep control of what is shared

“Never” choices are not shared or compared. You choose which eligible Map items to include with each partner, and you can stop sharing them. Partner chat is end-to-end encrypted, so the messages are readable by the two people in the conversation.

Either person can pause or end a connection at any time. Pausing puts shared activity on hold; resuming requires both people to agree. Cuffplay is for people aged 18 and over. See the safety information for more about limits and control.

Frequently asked questions

A little more detail.

Can I use Cuffplay on my own?
Yes. My Space, My Map, personal rituals and tasks, and private scene drafts can be used without a partner. Connecting is a choice you can make later.
Does my partner see my full Map?
No. You choose which eligible items to include with that partner. “Not for me” and “Never” answers cannot be included, and “Never” is not compared.
Does an In Common result mean we have agreed to try something?
No. It shows a choice you both elected to share. Talk about the details and ask for a clear, current answer before making a plan.
What happens if one of us wants to pause?
Either person can pause the connection. Shared activity stops while it is paused, and it resumes only if both people agree.
Is partner chat private?
Partner messages are end-to-end encrypted. The chat is between you and the partner in that shared space.
Where do I start?
You can take the free Kink Test or get started and open My Space. You do not need to connect with anyone to begin.
